Augie Magestro, owner and executive chef of Elite Catering, comes from a large Italian family. The youngest of seven children and the only boy, he had a passion for cooking and food from the young age of five. “While all the neighborhood kids were out playing with “G.I. Joe” and “Rockum Sockum Robots” I was saving my money for a “Quick Chef Grill”. Sure, the kids teased me but they loved the brownies and burgers I made for them!”
Augie has been cooking for family events and parties ever since. He's been cooking for a profession his entire life! He is an Executive Chef with an impressive career background. He is well known for the quality of his food and large portions. “My mother would always say to eat until you can’t breathe!”
You can see the passion and excitement in Augie's eyes no matter what it is he is creating. Now, he would like to share this same passion with you. He caters for all parties, large or small.
